Dr. Nate Upshaw, MD

Lead Psychiatrist

 

Since 2004, Dr. Nate Upshaw has had the privilege of practicing psychiatry across a wide range of inpatient and outpatient settings. His experience spans a full-time faculty teaching position at USF, working with Veterans within the VA Hospital system, and various private practice environments. Specialized training in psychotherapy, ECT, and TMS has equipped him to help individuals with diverse treatment modalities.

 

Throughout his career, Dr. Upshaw has always envisioned a concierge practice style. Frustrated by the demands and constraints of managed care, his goal was to offer exceptional psychiatric treatment by catering to patients’ needs without the rush or pressure often associated with traditional models.

 

Today, Dr. Upshaw is built on ensuring the highest level of privacy and personalized care for every patient.
