Avery Erickson, LMSW

Therapist

 

Avery, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, has lived in the Charleston area since early childhood. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of South Carolina and an undergraduate degree from Clemson University. Avery has experience facilitating both group and individual therapy with adolescents and and adults in various settings.

 

Her special interests include working with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. Avery primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), providing empathy and insight into current obstacles. She fosters a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported, helping them develop tools to thrive.
