Dr. Brandon Lilly, MD was born and raised in southern West Virginia and relocated to the Charleston area in 2019. He attended medical school and completed residency at the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in Huntington, West Virginia. He is board certified in General Psychiatry and enjoys treating individuals ranging from adolescents to older adults. He has worked as a Psychiatric Hospitalist for the past 5 years and has served as Medical Director for a substance use disorders treatment center. Additional educational training includes completion of Mini-Fellowships in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) from Emory University and in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) from the Medical University of South Carolina. Special interests include Geriatric psychiatry, special needs populations, and Neuromodulation therapies. Hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, enjoying new culinary experiences, and college sports.
Dr. Collins was born and raised in West Virginia and relocated to the Charleston, SC area in 2021. She attended medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine where she graduated in 2015. She then completed residency and served as chief resident at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health where she graduated in 2019. Dr. Collins is board certified in General Psychiatry and has a wide range of clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings and serves as the Medical Director of a community mental health clinic. Additional educational training includes completion of a Mini-Fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) from MUSC. She enjoys treating an extensive array of conditions in individuals from adolescents to the geriatric population. She also has an interest in special needs populations and neuromodulation therapies. Hobbies include spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.

Shannon was born and raised in Northern California and has worked in behavioral health for the past 25 years. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where she was fortunate enough to swim for UNC and finish her college career as a Division 1 Scholar Athlete. She continued her education at The College of William & Mary where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Counseling. She started her career in mental health in Roanoke, Virginia, as a school counselor, then spent several years working as an inpatient behavioral health therapist. Upon relocating to Charleston, she was part of the leadership team who opened Live Oak Behavioral Health and spent time working at the Intensive Outpatient level of care. She is passionate about facilitating healing and growth alongside those struggling with mental health issues. She believes the essence of taking care of oneself involves processing emotions in a healthy way and strives to help clients navigate challenges that interfere with emotional wellness and growth by utilizing supportive and practical interventions. Special interests include working with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, divorce/family change, life transitions, grief, as well as other diagnoses. Shannon believes in incorporating individualized and evidence-based treatment modalities, allowing her to meet her clients where they’re at. She welcomes diversity and is honored to work with individuals to help initiate and facilitate positive change to achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and her daughters, traveling, being on the water or at the beach, college sports, live music and making new connections. She is licensed in South Carolina and Virginia.
Avery, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, has been living in the Charleston area since early childhood. She holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of South Carolina and an undergraduate degree from Clemson University. Avery has experience facilitating both group and individual therapy, with both adolescents and adults, in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. Special interests include working with patients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, as well as other diagnoses. Avery utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to provide patients with empathy and insight into current obstacles being faced. Avery is passionate about collaborating with patients to empower them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being. She is committed to fostering a safe, nonjudgemental space, where clients feel heard, understood, and supported in their journey towards healing and personal growth. Avery welcomes individuals of all faiths, ethnicities, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Her goal is to establish meaningful connections with patients to help them develop the tools they need to thrive. In her free time, Avery enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, practicing yoga, and trying new local restaurants.
